Once upon time there were two sisters, Ethel (60) and Margaret (62), who rode the “Red Hatters” bus from Alabama to Mississippi to a casino and tried their luck, allowing to spend only $25.00 each. Their husbands were meeting them for supper after a game of golf. As long as the ladies were winning they would continue “rolling the dice” but lose no more than their set amount. This was their second time to visit and they decided to return every year as long as they and their husbands were able. Ethel and Margaret won $75.00 between them “to the good” and when their husbands showed up, they all went to a good eating place, “ladies treat.”
